Sources of Personal Data
We obtain information about individuals primarily in these ways:
When you visit our Sites or contact us directly about becoming a customer or client about obtaining other information from us
When you become a customer or client
When you contact us for help desk services
When you provide personal information to us externally such as at events or networking get-togethers.
“You” or “your” refers to the individual who uses our Sites, features, or services, or accesses available information, or engages with us directly by email, telephone, or in person.
“Cookies” are files containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before the expiry date; a session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed. “Sites” include our company websites, our private and public Facebook pages, and our third party transaction pages used for sales and “opt-in” opportunities.
We collect information from three types of individuals:
Our customers are individuals and businesses who have purchased or signed up for one of our online products.
Subscribers are individuals who sign up for free or paid coaching content from our Sites. If you submit your email to download a PDF, or to sign up for our email list, you are probably a subscriber. Subscriber data includes but is not limited to first name, last name, phone number, and email address.
Individuals at external venues who provide information in order to sign up for our email list for the purpose of receiving information about our products and services, newsletters, and announcements, etc., and individuals who provide comments on our blog posts.
What Information Do We Collect?
Depending on your use of our Sites or direct interaction with us, we collect two types of information: personal information and non-personal information. This information resides on a third party server operated and managed by The Endurance International Group, Inc. and their subsidiaries (“we,” “us” or “Endurance”) are a leading provider of online tools for small businesses to establish and build their web presence, get found in online search, and connect with customers through social media, email marketing, and more. Their brands include Constant Contact, Bluehost, HostGator, Domain.com, iPage, and others found at https://www.endurance.com/our-brands/.
Personal information identifies you or may be used in combination with other pieces for personal information to identify you. Examples of personal information include your name, company name, address, email address, telephone number, and billing and credit card information. Personal information can also include information that does not identify you but could be combined with other information in a way that enables you to be identified. This includes information such as age, gender, profession, zip code, IP address and current location.
Non-personal information is information that cannot be used or combined with other information to identify or contact you. This includes browser types, domain names, and statistical data involving the use or our Sites.
Where and When is Information Collected From Customers and Subscribers?
We will collect personal information that you submit to us or that you provide to us in some other manner:

Customers may be required to establish an account in order to take advantage of certain features for our Sites. If you wish to establish an account, you will be required to provide us with information (including personal information and non-personal information). In addition, we may obtain your personal information from you if you identify yourself to us by sending us an email with questions or comments.
Do We Collect Information From Children Under 16 Years of Age?
We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. Our products and services are not designed for or directed to children under the age of 16. We do not collect personal information from any person we actually know is under the age of 16.
What Do We Do With The Information We Collect From Customers, Subscribers, And Other Individuals?
As it pertains to your individual use of our Sites, we use the information collected to provide you with an excellent overall experience interacting with us and when using our Sites. In addition, we use the information to help us understand who uses our offerings; for internal purposes such as operating and improving our Sites, products and services; to contact you for customer service and billing purposes; and to facilitate the delivery of our advertising and offerings, in some cases using your email to send information to you and information about our products and services.
We also use personal information to send you welcome emails and other email communications related to our Sites. We always give you the option to unsubscribe in every email that we send you.
If you identify yourself to us by sending us an email with questions or comments, we may use your information to respond to your questions or comments, and we may file your questions or comments (with your information) for future reference.

In providing us with your personal information and using our Sites and services, you agree that intentional misconduct will be the sole standard used to measure our non-compliance with this policy.
