Dress the Part!
When I was an aspiring young career woman, college professors often touted the motto, “Don’t dress for the job you have – Dress for the job you want!” The principle serves a woman well, not just in the boardroom, but also in the bedroom!
What does dressing the part of a Sexually Confident Wife look like? First, it doesn’t mean prancing around dressed in something that you are not comfortable with. If you don’t like the Saloon Girl or Hooker look, don’t wear it! It’s not going to enhance your sexual confidence at all if you aren’t comfortable in what you are wearing. But just because comfort is key doesn’t translate into fuzzy robes and flannel nightgowns, either. Find some lingerie that flatters both your figure and your personality. Maybe your style is a satin pajama pant set that accentuates your assets… or a cute pair of boxer shorts with a form-fitting camisole… a free-flowing shortie nightgown… or maybe even just his cotton t-shirt (with nothing underneath). Pay attention to how you feel in your lingerie, not just how you look. You can look good enough to eat in an outfit, but if you don’t feel sexually confident in it for whatever reason, you’ll have a hard time playing the role of the Sexually Confident Wife.Summer is here! Tell your husband you’d like to bring new life to your bedroom with a beautiful new outfit. What husband is going to deny that request?
Wishing you a wonderful lingerie wardrobe,
Shannon
