I was so grateful for the opportunity to speak at the 2006 Exodus Freedom Conference last week, but I believe that I learned more than I taught. What did I learn? That regardless of our sexual orientation -- whether we struggle with emotional affairs and romance novels or with same-sex attractions and homosexual lifestyles -- the root issue is still the same. We are all looking for love in the wrong places. But praise God we can all find the love we crave through an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord! ICRS Convention in Denver, CO - July 9-13th
Shannon’s family will travel to Denver next week where she and her husband, Greg, will begin marketing the new Every Woman’s Marriage book at the International Christian Retail Show with several interviews and book signings scheduled. Please pray for travel safety, for Greg and Shannon to communicate God’s heart for stronger marriages as they begin speaking to couples about this resource, and for their family as they enjoy a few days vacation in Colorado following the convention.

Mission Trip to Zimbabwe - August 27 - September 16th
Shannon and her family have been invited by Youth for Christ to do a speaking/ministry tour through Bulawayo, Zimbabwe in Africa. We are very excited about the opportunity to distribute hundreds of Every Young Man & Woman’s Battle books and to speak to public & private school youth and college students, as well as parents and their children about the rich rewards of living a lifestyle of sexual integrity and intimacy with Christ.

70% of the world’s AIDS victims live in Africa
6,300 people die every day in Africa because of AIDS
