As we say goodbye to 2004, we give thanks for the many miracles God has done this year:

• 128,000 married and single adult women’s lives touched so far
• Remained in the top 50 selling books since its release in July 2003
• Translations in Spanish and Chinese
With Every Young Woman’s Battle
• 107,000 teen girls and young adult women’s lives impacted
• Remained #1 on the youth best-seller list since its release in July 2004

Currently I am working on the next book in the series, Every Woman’s Marriage: Setting Your Husband’s Heart Ablaze (which releases in June 2006). While Greg and I have plenty to share about our own marital issues, I’d also like to share other married couples’ experiences. UPDATE ON SHANNON’S HUSBAND, GREG…
Many of you remain interested in following Greg’s ministry as Chief Financial Officer of Mercy Ships International. Currently he is in the midst of many financial crises as Mercy Ships is responding immediately to deliver aid to areas in Asia affected by the tsunamis. Working in collaboration with an international aid organization already on the ground in Sri Lanka, Mercy Ships will be shipping a container of emergency medical and relief supplies to Sri Lanka. PRAYER REQUESTS…
We are so thankful for those of you who keep us lifted up in prayer. When you think of it, here are specific items we’d appreciate prayer for:
• Greg - that he would have wisdom and insight as he appropriates funds toward the tsunami relief efforts and toward Mercy Ships’ three hospital vessels. Please also pray for travel safety to London for board meetings the last week of January.
• Shannon - will be in Lynchburg, Virginia January 8-14 taking her last counseling class to complete her master’s degree in human relations. Please pray for safe travel and for the class to be a productive experience, and for all to function well on the home front in her absence.
• Erin (12) and Matthew (9) - please remember them during the times that mom or dad are traveling.
• For the Lord to inspire Shannon as she is writing this next book, Every Woman’s Marriage.
• For the readers of the Every Woman’s Battle and Every Man’s Battle series - that the Lord would convict them of sin and comfort them with hope and freedom.
