IN CASE YOU MISSED IT...
I had an absolute blast over the past month with KVNE’s Tricia Anderson (89.5 FM) as we produced and aired a 3-part radio show series on Saturday nights called Every Woman’s Night Out. Here’s the scoop on those shows and how you can get a copy if you missed them:
- On October 16th our show targeted young women with the Every Young Woman’s Battle message and we featured an artist spotlight interview with singer/songwriter Bethany Dillon.
- On October 23rd we focused on single and married adult women with the Every Woman’s Battle message including a special interview with singer/songwriter Sara Kelly.
- On October 30th we issued a wake up call to parents with previews of the Preparing Your Daughter for Every Woman’s Battle message (book to be released in June 2005), interviewing Chrissy Conway of ZOEgirl and Jose Cano, professional counselor at Teen Mania Ministries.

UPCOMING FEATURES:
During my time in Chicago, I had a delightful dinner with Jane Struck, editor of Today’s Christian Woman magazine. I almost fell over when Jane said, “I’d like to ask your permission to feature a COVER STORY on Shannon Ethridge Ministries for our July/August 2005 issue.” I told Jane I’d have to fast and pray about it, so I put down my fork and paused for two seconds before declaring, “OKAY! God said YES!” The focus of the feature will be to help us promote the third book in the series, Preparing Your Daughter for Every Woman’s Battle (for parents to read with their 9-13 year-old daughters). Once again, God amazes us by opening such incredible doors of opportunity to reach more and more women of all ages!
UPCOMING EVENT FOR TEENS:
We invite your teens to join us at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church in Dallas, TX on November 19-20th for a Friday-night, all-day Saturday event focusing on “Sexuality: God’s Good Gift”. We encourage you to become a disciple for the message and witness lives being transformed and (current or future) marriages strengthened when God’s people learn to reject sexual compromise and embrace a life of sexual integrity and intimacy with Christ.
