EVERY WOMAN SERIES UPDATE
Praise God! Every Woman's Battle has now exceeded 100,000 copies in sales within its first year and Every Young Woman's Battle sales are boggling our minds! Within the first 6 weeks in stores, EYWB has sold almost 50,000 copies. We're excited about the 150,000 lives these book sales represent and pray that God is truly impacting each and every reader!

SHARE YOUR STORY
Currently, we are working on Preparing Your Daughter for Every Woman's Battle: Creative Conversations about Sexual Integrity (for parents to use with their 9-13 year old daughters) which will be released in July 2005. We'd love to hear your stories about you or your daughter's first questions or exposure to the topic of sex or relationships! What have you been surprised by? How have you handled her questions? How have you approached this topic even before she asked? What is she struggling with during her puberty years? What is she hearing from her peers at school or church? We'd love to include more real-life stories/examples of conversations, so if you'd like to contribute to the writing of this book, please send your stories to sethridge@shannonethridge.com. Also, if you have a daughter in this age range and would like to proof a draft of Preparing Your Daughter for EWB, please let me know! I'd like at least three proofing moms to read the book with their daughters in the month of October.

The next book, Every Woman's Marriage: Setting Your Husband's Heart Ablaze (to be released in January 2006) addresses the typical "boredom" that marriage and parenting so often brings and how a woman can stir the embers of her relationship to keep it from growing cold. MEDIA NEWS
* Thanks to those who prayed last week for the Colorado Springs trip and the taping with Focus on the Family! The interview went very well and the airdate will be announced soon.

* For those of you in the east Texas area, I will be in the KVNE studios on Thursday, September 9th to do a live interview at noon. Join us by tuning in at 89.5 FM!

* Please pray for me while in Chicago next week. My itinerary is as follows:
- Sept. 15th - The Harvest Television Show
- Sept. 16th - Meeting with the editor of Marriage Partnership Magazine, Midday Connection live radio broadcast at Moody Studios, Dinner meeting with the editor of Today's Christian Woman Magazine.

Since this is my first trip to Chicago, a girlfriend and I have made time to take in a few sights around the Windy City and of course, indulge in one of those famous haaat-daaags!

PLEASE PRAY FOR GREG
Shannon's husband is currently sailing on Mercy Ships' Anastasis, conducting business meetings with many of the executives who operate the ship. His plans to return home on Friday, September 10th, have had to be postponed by a day due to a delay in when the ship will be docking. Please pray that the ship is able to dock according to schedule and that Greg's flight home from London is safe.

PRAISE REPORT FROM ERIN & MATTHEW
Our children (ages 12 and 9) were able to change schools this year and now attend Christian Heritage School, operated by Youth With A Mission. They are very excited about their Bible classes and the Christian worldview from which all of their subjects are taught. By the grace of God, they've made the transition really well and we are so thankful that God provided this opportunity for them.
